The 17th CUHK Golf Day was held successfully

The 17th CUHK Golf Day took place on 16 January 2025 at the Eden Course, Hong Kong Golf Club, Fanling. The event drew overwhelming responses from CUHK alumni and friends. The event has raised over HK$ 1.5 million in support of the development of the University, Colleges, as well as enriching the “CUHK Golf Day Scholarship”.

The Tee-off Ceremony was officiated by Professor Anthony Chan, Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President (Alumni Relations & Advancement) of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Mrs Carol Tsang, Platinum Sponsor and representative of Billion Charity Fund and Mr Stewart Cheng, Diamond Sponsor of the event. 

During the Ceremony, Professor Chan expressed his gratitude towards alumni and friends of CUHK and the Advisory Committee of the CUHK Golf Day for their staunch support in making CUHK's Golf Day a success. The members of the Advisory Committee actively called on elite alumni and friends from various sectors to participate in the golf tournament. Professor Chan looked forward to continuing the partnership with the supporters of CUHK and promoting the humanistic spirit together.

CUHK Golf Day Scholarship

Established in 2011, the “CUHK Golf Day Scholarship” is an admission scholarship for first-year undergraduates who achieved academic excellence and participated actively in voluntary services and sports activities. Financial needs of students will also be taken into consideration during the selection process.  A total of ten outstanding students were awarded the scholarship this year.
