Over 200 enthusiastic alumni donors and their families joined the Alumni Donor Tea Gathering on Sunday, 4 December at CUHK Alumni Homecoming 2011. It was organized by the Office of Institutional Advancement to thank the alumni donors. Filled with joy and big smiles, graduates from different years, colleges and degrees shared the same passion and care towards their Alma Mater.

The alumni donors had a wealth of experiences of CUHK from 1958 to 2010, but all enjoyed the opportunity to meet with Professor Joseph Sung, Vice-Chancellor and President of CUHK, as well as to listen to the sharing of student representatives who benefitted from the donations.

Professor Sung thanked all the alumni donors for their contributions to CUHK. He also encouraged them to keep up with their good work to preserve the CUHK heritage. The four student representatives, Chan Tsz-wai, Lau Chak-lui, Law Hei-ting and Zhang Ping, spoke passionately about how much the support from alumni donors meant to them, and they treasured the opportunities to tender their thankfulness to their senior CUHKers.
