CUHK Established Community College with Tung Wah Group of Hospitals

The Chinese University of Hong Kong jointly established a community college to cater to the needs of a knowledge-based economy. On 21 Mar 2006, the topping-out ceremony of the Ma Kam Chan Memorial Building, the main building of the Community College, was held. Officiating at the ceremony were the Hon. Professor Arthur K. C. Li, Secretary for Education and Manpower of the HKSAR, Mr. Eddie Wang, TWGHs Chairman, Prof. Kenneth Young, acting vice-chancellor of CUHK and Professor Richard M. W. Ho, President of the CUHK-TWGHs Community College.

As one of the leading tertiary institution in Hong Kong and the major player in local education system, both CUHK and TWGHs have always advanced with society and contributed to education development.
