In 2012, Professor Sir David Todd kindly made a donation to The Chinese University of Hong Kong in memory of Professor Todd’s late mother, Mrs Margaret Todd, for granting a prize to an outstanding nursing student with effect from the academic year 2012-13.

A prize of the amount of HK$2,000 is to be awarded annually to a full-time final year nursing undergraduate student of the Medical Faculty based on the best performance in the clinical practice, as judged by the highest average mark of all clinical practice courses throughout the whole study period of the Bachelor of Nursing programme.

In lieu of flowers, the Todd family would appreciate that donations be made to support ‘Margaret Todd Prize in Nursing’.
