Scholarships, Bursaries and Fellowships
As of 30 September 2024, CUHK has more than 23,000 students with 80% enrolled in undergraduate programmes. The large enrollment draws a significant demand for bursaries to support students in need as well as awards for students with outstanding academic and community achievements.
With the objective of attracting talents from all over the world, scholarships, bursaries and fellowships are integral in recruiting the most outstanding scholars to continue their pursuits of excellence at CUHK. The University therefore is appealing to our alumni and friends to make a gift in support of our scholarship, bursary and fellowship schemes.

Establishment of Named Scholarships and Scholarship Endowment Funds
You may choose to make a one-off donation of HK$200,000, which will enable the establishment of a named scholarship with the scope of support in accordance to your wishes.
You may also consider donating HK$3,000,000 to set up a named scholarship endowment fund. The annual payout # derived from the fund will enable us to set up a scholarship of approximately HK$105,000 per year in perpetuity, ensuring continuous recognition and support for future generations of students.
# The payout rate is subject to University review from time to time.
